Hdd is 91% full

  • hello, my pfsense is using 80GB disk and here is my df

    df -g
Filesystem  1G-blocks Used Avail Capacity  Mounted on
    /dev/ad0s1a        70  59    5    91%    /
    devfs              0    0    0  100%    /dev
    /dev/md0            0    0    0    2%    /var/run
    devfs              0    0    0  100%    /var/dhcpd/dev

  • that is solved after reboot

  • A common issue on *nix boxes.  If a file is open, but deleted, then du will not find it, but df will (correctly) report the space it is using.  Until the file is closed the space isn't freed up.
