I finally got around to installing the IDE-CF adapter into my firewall (generic-pc).  Everything works fine as it should.  Once I change the "/etc/platform" file contents from pfSense to wrap, making the cf card read-only, I get all sorts of write errors booting up, I can't get online (although the internal interfaces work), and then when I try to reboot it won't, it just loop while it tries to write something.

I had the same exact problem when I tried installing to CF earlier in the week and changed to "wrap" platform.

'wrap' platform is no longer valid.  Try 'embedded'
