Update to 2.2.1

Hi,
Sorry for the dumb question, but I can't figure this one out … :-(. I'm running v2.2, but want to get to v2.2.1, as it has a fix I want (SMTP email update). How do I update to 2.2.1?

Makes sense, and no issue. Just wasn't sure if I was pointing the wrong place for updates, as I see a bunch of changes going in to Github.

If you want a particular patch only, install the system patches package and stick the commit ID in there, save, test, apply.

If I owned a quantum computer would I be able to update to future releases now before they are released or do I still need to wait for them to be made?

check to see if it was commited to 2.2 in github and not just master. then gitsync 2.2

you can gitsync RELENG_2_2 to get what's currently 2.2.1-DEVELOPMENT. Snapshots will be coming back soon.
