New install on a pfsense appliance

I've a rack mountable pfsense like this:

If I would reinstall pfsense how can I do?
If I'm right I have to put the .img in a usb pen and connect to Pfsense. Then I connect a serial cable to Pfsense and if a reboot the Pfsense it should start the installation. Is it correct? -
Does it have serial console on the back? If not, you might need to open the box…
If it does, you might be able to take control & boot from usb? (seen on the picture at least it has that on the front) -

Yep so use the memstick-serial image and write it to a USB flash drive. Boot from that and use the serial console to reinstall to the SSD.
