    Have Pfsense 2.2 support realtek giga network card?

      Hello,
      I have see redmine and this forum.Some people use realtek lan card on pfsense 2.2 have problem.Is it really?I want to upgrade from 2.1.5 to 2.2.But I don't know this lan card have support pfsense 2.2

        Boot a live CD and see.

        Realtek's generally work.  Intels generally work better.

        If you're happy with 2.1.5,  2.2 should be at least as satisfying.

                Where it works in 2.1x, it's probably at least 99.99% likely to work in 2.2. That one specific bug report you linked is a very unusual circumstance, possibly with a NIC with hardware issues. As others have suggested, just booting off the live CD/memstick and verifying the NICs work would ensure that same circumstance isn't applicable to your system. Many, many people have upgraded with RTL8111 NICs, and that one ticket is the only problem I've heard of.

                  OK,I will use livecd to test NIC.I hope can upgrade to 2.2  :D
