I slightly changed the dansguardian block page html codes under:
      /usr/pbi/dansguardian-amd64/local/share/dansguardian/languages/ukenglish/template.html

I Saved and then restarted the whole physical machine.
However my changes still not appearing.
what else do i need to do ?

I'm not currently looking at it, but I believe the block page is specified in the UI. If so, you need to change it there. Otherwise your changes will be overwritten.

          Thanks for your reply.
Sorry if I am not that expert, what do mean about UI ?

Also I had another question, I want to release the .exe and some more extensions. I added # before them to be ignored and saved and the restart the whole system.
          /usr/pbi/dansguardian-amd64/local/etc/dansguardian/lists/bannedextensionlist

          However still it is blocked.
what do you think I else need to do.

I believe content for the block page is specified on the logging/reporting Web interface page.

DO NOT directly change any of the configuration files… change them using the web user interface (under services/dansguardian).

Unfortunatly it doesnot want to work. I went through all the files but only file matching with the Access denied page is in
              /usr/pbi/dansguardian-amd64/local/share/dansguardian/languages/ukenglish/template.html
My changes are there but it doesn't show on client machine, on client machine still the default page comes. I don't know where that page is saved ?

Not sure I understand. Did you change the page content using the user interface page?

I logged to PfSense Dashboard. From the top menu selected "Diagnostic", from the dropdown menu select  "Edit File"
                  I brows the following path
                  /usr/pbi/dansguardian-amd64/local/share/dansguardian/languages/ukenglish/template.html

I made some changes such as : Organisation name and background color and also added more text.
(in terms of HTML coding, I am in good level,  so there is nothing wrong with the tags that I added)

                  I then Saved

And finally reboot the Pf sense through the Diagnostic > Reboot

When I go back to the above path all my changing and text are there but when I load a restricted page on a browser still I see the default Access denied page with the yellow color on the top.

Would be grateful if you could help me please.

Go under the dansguardian service and use the log and reporting page to make your change. You cannot directly edit the files. They will be overwritten. I don't know how many times I need to say it. STOP directly editing the files!
