    Hi There

I originally set up the squidGuard with Shalla's blacklist, and it seemed to work fine, I got some categories shown in the 'default' page (attached below).
Unfortunately it didn't hit the pages I wanted it to hit, so I wanted to use the URLblacklist.com list.
    I've entered the download link:
    yesterday.

But I don't see any change in the categoriez list, shouldn't it do that?

          @dvserg:

I will be looking structure you blacklist from you url in next week.

          Hi DVSerg

          Ahh, user error…

Well, I had the impression that it would automagically fetch the blacklist, but I can see that that is a misunderstanding on my part.
I experimented a bit further, and after pressing Upload URL it populated the list perfectly.
          Very misleading label IMNSHO.

It has the URLBlacklist now, and geeez, that's effective, only a few danish sites slipped through (but I'll put a plug in that soon enough :-D).

Now, while I'm on the subject of bad labels, what does the Blacklist proxy do?
Is it a way to add to my own blacklist, or how is that to be understood?

Oh, and does the default work as a baseline, and then all the rest is added on top of it (cumulative)?
So that if I choose gaming in default, if I don't select it in an ACL it will still have effect for the users in the ACL?
And again, if I choose gaming in an ACL I will override the default, no matter if it's set to allow or disallow?

          Thanks again
          Kenneth

            Looking here Howto
            http://diskatel.narod.ru/sgquick.htm
            –-
You blacklist site have restrictions(limits) for downloading. Yestaday i have messages 'try later...try tomorrow, very mach connections from you ip..'. Now i downloading manually this blacklist and testing him(ploading to pfSense from local ftp server) - all beautiful updated and worked.

'Blacklist proxy - Blacklist upload proxy' Option for uploading proxy only. You can use any external proxy (public or private) for uploading blacklist.

So that if I choose gaming in default, if I don't select it in an ACL it will still have >effect for the users in the ACL?
Eachl ACL's have only self rules. Default - also ACL, but for any users, who is not processed other ACLs.
