Squid3 + antivirus - freshclam not updating automatically

Hi,

I am using pfsense 2.2 + squid3 + AntiVirus. AntiVirus is in genral working (EICAR Test) but it looks like freshclam ist not updating automatically.
I then go to the command line and have a look at "/var/log/clamav/freshclam.log" and can see that the last update was 2 weeks in the past. I updated then manually and could see that it now is again the last update 3 days in the past.

I deactivated the AntiVirus in squid an re-activated it but no success. I then stopped c-icap and squid service and then restarted both but not success and not update.
I now added a cron job which should run one time in the night just running freshclam which the updates the databases.

/usr/local/bin/freshclam

Unfortunately - I posted this already in another thread - there ist actually no possibility on dashboard or GUI to see when the last update happend an which signatures are installed.
If someone knows how to fix this please let me know and perhaps shoul should check your installation and signatures release date to make sure you have the latest ones installed.

Nevertheless I like this squid3 package and it made a huge progress sice I first used it some years ago.
