    Could i install and run pfS on hardware of apple tv1 or tv2?

      I have got an idea to install pfsense on an apple tv1 or tv2 hardware. What do you think could this run?

        Neither of those are X86 hardware so no.

        Edit: I see the first gen was X86. But probably still no.  ;)

          Not a good option, is limited to 256mb of RAM

            Apple TV 1st gen has an Intel Pentium M processor which translates more energy into heat than in processing power (gets hot).
            Other than that it only has one NIC, too few Ram and only boots Apple's OS (whichever is on there).
            Getting Linux to boot (XBMC/Kodi) was really hard work to develop. I doubt anyone is willing to do that for FreeBSD even though it's closer to Apple's own stuff than Linux.

            ATV2 is totally unsupported hardware.

            The short answer is NO.
