      Pfsense Ver 2.2-Release
I have a Voip phone system which uses multicast paging on ip/port 224.0.0.1:3333
I have two lan interfaces on the pfsense
      Lan1 192.168.1.0/24
      Lan2 192.168.3.0/24
Both lans can see to each other and all functions of my phones and network are working with the exception of multicast between the two lans.
I have also setup IGMP proxy with the following
      UPstream
      Lan 1
      Value 192.168.0.0/24

      Downstream
      Lan2
      Value 192.168.3.0/24
I have also tried different combinations of adding the 224.0.0.0/24 to the up or downstream values without success
I am new to this so any help would be great
      Thanks

I had a similar problem. I tracked it down by observing tcpdump and the pfSense logs.

Please correct any obvious misinformation in my posts.

          Lan1 192.168.1.0/24
          Lan2 192.168.3.0/24
          UPstream
          Lan 1
          Value 192.168.0.0/24

          I guess I don't understand why the Upstream isn't 192.168.1.0/24

            Sorry I made a typo
My Lan 1 interface is 192.168.0.0/24
My Lan 2 interface is 192.168.3.0/24

The 192.168.1.0/24 range is in use on a VPN that is not related to this
Unless you think it makes a difference?
Thanks for the response I'm still having trouble getting this to work
