      Hi All,

I got a ViaSAT Tooway Surfbeam 2 Modem, which is bridging me to the Satellite ISP's DHCP Server.
This server gives me a DHCP lease with a 7 day validity.

So far, so good. Here's the problem:

Sometimes they decide that they want to change something, so the server cancels my lease by sending a packet (which I don't see in rfc2131) and wants my router to request a new lease apparently, which pfsense 2.2-RELEASE (amd64) apparently doesn't do.

Does anybody know this problem? Is there a solution? Any dirty workaround would be welcomed.
Would it help to put another router in the middle? Which one, OpenDRT okay?

      Thanks!
