Two wan interfaces on same segment

I have two IP addresses from my ISP and have assigned them to two physical interfaces. The two IPs are on the same segment and both go to the ISP's router.
I ran into a problem with the second interface as it won't let me assign the gateway address. It says the address already exists, but it doesn't show in the drop-down. Should the second interface then automatically use the gateway from the first (which is set as the default)?
Why not just a VIP on the first interface?

Hi Dan, I ran into almost the same problem. My problem is, that my standardgateway has already been assigned to another WAN interface connected to a different router, that I use for all my vlans.
But in your case, the second wan interface will use the standardgateway from the first wan interface, so you should have no trouble at all.
Kind regards, MisterIX.
