How to install pfsense
-
Hi,
I am new to pfsense.I want step by step guide to download and install pfsense.I have tried couple of time in standalone system but its not detecting my both lan card.
-
And what system are you trying to install it on? What is the hardware? What are the nics?
-
A step by step guide won't help you if your hardware isn't supported.
-
Instructions are pretty simple
Download pfsense image.
Boot image
Following bouncing ball instructions
Done.
Not really sure what other details anyone would need? If pfsense takes you more than like 5 minutes to get running out of the box your doing it wrong ;) Prob take you longer to burn the image to optical media than the actual install.

That is your hardware?? Like asking what car you drive and you say its blue..
What is the make and model of the motherboard, what is the nics installed? Is it a Dell or HP? come on 4 GB of Ram.. Intel Core 2??
How does that error have anything to do with your nics??

And what is the exact file name of the image you downloaded? What did you write it to?
