How to activate SquidGuard?

Hi there!

I want to activate Squidguard. I've Squid proxy installed. In SquidGuard; General Settings I checked 'Enable', saved and applied.

But the 'SquidGuard service state' says: STOPPED.

I set a valid local blacklist URL and checked 'Blacklist'.

I didn't set other settings. Did I miss to configure anything?
