I've been having quite a bit of crashing with my SG-2440. It appears to be surrounding the WLE200NX. In my various attempts to get the wireless to work (https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=91826.0), I have several times ended up with the unit falling into an endless crash/reboot/crash cycle. If I interrupt the boot in rc and disable the wireless interface, the cycle stops.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?

I'm wondering if I have a bad unit. Or perhaps a bad WLE200NX. Or a driver problem.

Does the assemble/test cover wireless if it's part of the configuration?

With the thousands of possible wireless configuration possibilities, it's difficult to tell what you might be hitting. Can you give us some specifics about the exact setup you are using with wireless on that unit? Screenshots of the wireless config (you can blur/hide/blank the key), and "ifconfig -a" output would help.

If you have a crash report, post it here or submit it and let us know the IP address it came from so we can look it up on the crash report server.

Also if that was purchased from the pfSense store and you have registered the device and activated support, you can submit a ticket to have it looked at that way as well, which may be better especially if you are more comfortable sharing the configuration specifics with us privately via our support system. If it is determined to be a hardware problem someone can setup and RMA for you from there as well.

FWIW, I've sent in a couple dozen crash reports. Crash reports should originate from 50.193.41.73 or 50.193.41.77.

I've tried literally dozens and dozens of configurations. This thread will give you some background, several of my diagnostic attempts, and my current (desired) configuration:

          I have opened a ticket.

Did you determine what was causing your issues?

Yes, it's covered in the thread above. It was a hardware defect. The pfSense folk replaced the unit and all is fine.
