    Hi,

I have pfSense 2.2.2-release (amd64) installed. The machine can reach the internet without any problem.
However, if I change package repository URL to my own IP address and then go to Available Packages, it always shows, "Unable to communicate with http://MY IP Address/. Please verify DNS and interface configuration, and that pfSense has functional Internet connectivity." I modified the package repository URL by going to Package Manager Settings.

On the other hand, if I set the package repository URL to the official one, it works fine. I am sure my IP address is publicly reachable.

I have tried to set the system to prefer IPv4 rather than IPv6, but this can't solve the issue. Could someone please help me?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Demuse
