I have one firewall in particular (out of 50+ deployed) where the webgui is often unresponsive/intermittent, I get a connection timeout error for probably 30 seconds at a time.  The GUI also shows that it can't check for updates often when it does load. I thought it was an issue with the internet circuit or connectivity in general but SSH works fine and never disconnects, constant pings work fine. Running 2.1.5. Has anyone seen this issue before?

Yea? How would DNS be related? I'm using 75.75.75.75 (Comcast) and 8.8.8.8 (Google) as secondary, both seem to be responding fine.

I'm accessing the firewall via its static WAN IP..

Shrug… Any machine I've seen this on has had either broken DNS or unreachable LDAP auth server. (I mean the DNS on the firewall itself. What's on your PC is irrelevant.)

            From LAN? Why?

I'm not using LDAP and I'm not on the LAN, this router is in another city…
