    CARP changing mac address - PfSense 2.2 + Xenserver 6.5

      Hi!

      I'm having this strange issue when using CARP with PfSense 2.2 + Xenserver 6.5:

      One of my two pfsense boxes doesn't get the same VIP mac address!

      Could somebody help me?

        The MAC for a CARP VIP is determined by the VHID – See the link here: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/CARP_Configuration_Troubleshooting#Conflicting_VHIDs

        If that doesn't appear to be the case for you, we'll need to see a lot more data ("ifconfig -a" output, packet captures showing the MAC you say is incorrect, etc)

          Hi, Jim!

          I'm not having any VHID conflict so far. I'm gonna need create a virtual lab to reproduce the issue but I'm kinda busy right now.

          I'll let you know in a few days.
