Seems Debian 8 was released about 8p-9p my time, but I was not aware of it until about 11:30p. Any recommendations on how best to keep on top of these? I just so happened to checked DistroWatch before bed and saw it, but I cannot find an Atom or RSS feed from that site.

While I was late to the party, I am already up near a 20x share ratio. Seed my pretties! Seed!

Can you tell when I added the torrents?

DistroWatch is my go-to resource for Linux release news.  They have a schedule of future major releases that they track so you always know what's coming up.

Given this 2,5 hours, I think you are still in the top 0,00000000001%.

Governments, with a zillion government 'workers', typically take 10 years to get the latest news  ;D ;D ;D

6 and a half billion people know that they are stupid, agressive, lower life forms.
