    Hi,

Which syntax do I use if I want to send a short email message from a script in pfsense?

(To Address, Subject and Short Message body with %date and %time variables)

I have tried with different syntaxes without any luck…

Also which text editor is included in pfsense?

Thanks a lot if someone has a minute

    best regards

    Tor

There is no mailing daemon on FreeBSD so it would require some kind of add on package to assist.

OK, thanks for this info.  However, may I humbly ask if someone has suggestion on a simple mail daemon for this purpose and how to install it?

I am a newbie, but I want to want to learn, hence I need some help in the beginning ;-)

        regards
