      I've got a pretty vanilla pfsense box that's been running for years just fine, but something I've noticed as my ISP has gone offline a few times recently is that the minute the modem loses WAN connectivity to the outside world, all name based resolutions on my internal network quit working.  Accessing devices only works via IP.

      The first DNS server listed is 127.0.0.1, followed by the two OpenDNS servers.  Is there something obvious I'm missing?
