      I need to configure a static adress on my WAN port and at the same time recive a dhcp adress from my ISP.

      my setup:

      Line –---- Modem (with ip 192.168.1.1) ------- pfSense ------ LAN (192.168.15.0/24)

      The modem is in bridge mode but do have a administration interface on 192.168.1.1 and some times i need to reconf the modem.

      Any one that know how to add an aditional ip to an interface?

      Like if i did a "ifconfig re0 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 alias"

        Go to Firewall > Virtual IPs in the GUI and add an IP Alias.
