Hi, I am looking to deploy pfsense in a large environment where we will have hundreds, maybe thousands of devices all using static IP based on MAC address, is there a limit to the number of IP address pfsense can store like this?

    thanks

Hi, i only use pfSense for 3 days but… if every IP is static... with 255.0.0.0 mask you would have a TON of them to use.

The problem will be maintaining the static mappings.  I have no doubt it will work, but you will be looking at webgui pages of thousands of entries.  They will take some time to render.  It's really not designed to maintain mapping databases of that size.
