Domain fails to resolve until unbound is restarted

Hi,
I am running into an issue with our pfsense sg-2440 where a domain used often within the office suddenly cannot be resolved. When I login to the pfsense interface and restart unbound, the website works again. Any ideas on where the problem might lie?

does unbound resolve other uncached domains when this happens, or is it just that its not working at all and you restart it.
What is in the log for unbound when this problem is happening?

No other domains appeared to be affected, for the unbound log, is it /var/log/resolver.log? I can't seem to find the log in the pfsense interface.

My network tech discovered an odd configuration in the DNS setup for that specific domain. Should be resolved in 24 hours. Sorry!

Pretty sure if snake you would be bitten if looking in the log section ;) Where were you looking for it at?
