Apinger  has problems. It runs fine for a few hours showing correct timing for my gateway. Then it suddenly drops to 2ms. I restart Apinger and all is ok again. Any ideas on the issues.

The code is broken beyond repair. That is the entire idea. Do not expect any fixes until complete rewrite/replacement with something else.

Actually apinger has now been rewritten twice, once by us and again by a community member, some combination of the two is likely to end up in 2.3. There is hope.

AFAIK neither implementation is 100% config-compatible but I might be wrong there. If they are then it might be possible to drop the binary in place but I wouldn't hold my breath. It'll come, just not right this moment.

ETA for 2.3 is this fall (~September-ish)

Careful! Someone will carve that in granite on the building somewhere and then try and hold you to it…. ;)
