Im trying the Wake On Lan on a wired PC and I seem to have configured it right but I can only download a app from the Google Play Store and Wake On Lan it from there. I cannot go into the web gui and Wake On Lan it by clicking on it.

      Why?

Short answer: you're doing something wrong  ;)

        Longer answer: Need more information.
What device are you using to try and access the Web-GUI?
Can you get to any of the GUI pages on pfSense?
What device are you trying to wake up?
Are you sure you know the correct MAC address of the device you're trying to wake up?

          Worst answer ever

          My laptop
Yes, I can get to all and every of the GUI pages on the pfSense
Im trying to turn on a Windows PC
Yes, I copy/pasted the MAC address from the web gui directly into the Android app

          Any other question?

Grab a packet capture so we can see what is being put out onto the wire.

Yes, I have another question.  What network interface is pfSense Web-GUI Wake on LAN set to use?

Now that's a good and valid question/response and I apologize for not stating it in the post.

It is set on the LAN

Please post packet capture of both the successful Android WoL and failed pfSense WoL.

All methods of WoL are not created equal, and it could be very telling as to why one works and the other does not.

Will try this as soon as I can…

                    Good advice. Thank you.
