I got highend intel cards in both my PC and my pfsense rig, and Im wondering wich Performance options that are optimal.

My WAN internet Connection is 100/100, and Im running GB speed in my local LAN.

My NIC is set to recieve 512/ transmit 512, any comments or advices around that?

What you are expecting and what you are really getting is the first that we should to know!

          • From PC to PC through the pfSense with iPerf would be bringing it out what you need to know.

Where? LAN or WAN Port or all?

I have a high end Intel NIC and with only out of box settings, I was getting 1.5Gb/s with iPerf at only ~5% cpu, which was the max my testing machines could handle, and 70k pps when I did a ping flood also about 5% cpu and again my testing box was the limit, not PFSense.
