Hi all I am a firewall novice and could do with some config help this is what I am running
      A single internet connection
An HP Micro server with 3 network interfaces and dns and domain controller with a dhcp server and pfsense running on separate hyper V virtual servers
I am running a IP range for the Lan of 10.10.56.1 with a mask of 255.255.255.0 with a router gateway of 10.10.56.254
What I would like to do is route all internet traffic through the pfsense to the router on a separate range to that of the LAN
What I have issues with is how to map the virtual addresses on pfsense to a physical network interfaces and handle the forwarding to and from the LAN
Does anyone have a similar config they might be able to share?

Huh?  Sorry.  Not seeing it.  Try explaining it again.  A diagram might help.

Hi thanks for the reply the diagram attached is what i want to achieve i realise that i dont need to directly tie the virtual addresses to the physical nics as they reside on different subnets for WAN and LAN but i need to know how to route traffic through the firewall between the 2 subnets and use the pfsense as the LAN's default gateway
