I have changed this from standard to aggressive and seems to have made apinger stop dropping to near zero so often not sure why it seemed to help? would like some other to verify if it helps as its only been 24hrs and acouple of speed test (use to zero with ervey speedtest)

What I notice with apinger on Aggressive, is I now see every so often lots of apinger: Polling, timeout: 0.000s after an initial apinger: Polling, timeout: 1.5000s where the 1.5 seconds can be a variable amount of time.

I gave up on apinger. My experience is pretty much opposite, though – more stable on conservative.

It's never idle long enough for state timeouts to matter. Its general unpredictability in problem circumstances makes it hard to say whether changing something actually had any impact.
