bump !
just looking for a user guide or manual.

Which part are you looking for info on? Physically installing the hardware? Configuring it after it's installed?

well physically installing the hardware and then i can try to configure it.

The ADI manual is probably about as close as you'll find hardware-wise. Make sure the mSATA goes into the mSATA slot, and the wifi card can go into either of the mini-PCIe slots. Those are noted in the picture on page 8 of the manual.
http://www.adiengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/RCC-VE-Platform-User-Manual-R100.pdfYou'll need to reinstall the system after putting in the mSATA, assuming you want to run from it. Get the ADI 2.2.2 memstick version, or contact us via support if you purchased it from store.pfsense.org and we can point you to the memstick image it ships with (which would be best).
The wireless configuration is pretty straight forward. It's documented in the book, and our last hangout was on that topic as well, either of which are available to check out for gold subscribers after logging into the members area.

i'll give it a go. -
ok, before i try the upgrade,
i have the firmware netgate-memstick-ADI-2.2.2-RELEASE-amd64-20150424-1057.img.
i also downloaded the firmware pfSense-memstick-ADI-2.2.2-RELEASE-amd64.img.my device is from negate so i assume i should use the netgate one.
when i use the console setup to my pc with the command prompt it is very temperamental.
after the initial connection is made, if my pc goes to sleep or the cable is removed, i am unable to reconnect. all i get is "#" after hitting enter.
is that normal, and when the netgate reboots with the memstick will i lose the connection and be unable to go through the install process?and if everything goes for a #$%! can i simply remove the msata drive and have the netgate operate as it is now?
thanks.
