That is reasonably priced - like under 50 USD.

I'm running pfSense on a Dell Optiplex GX150 - the embedded NIC is a VIA/Rhine chipset if I remember correctly.
      For my second interface, I'm running a D-Link DFE530TX.

I don't have any hard evidence, but I think maybe my lag in WoW could be attributed to the those 2 NICs.

Therefore, I want to buy two identical NICs, disable the onboard NIC, and pull the D-Link and shelve it.

My gut says "Intel or 3Com" - but I thought I would solicit some opinions here before I spent the money.

      Thanks!

I did it for the lulz.

Looks like a pair of these will be just the ticket then!

Note that this is a low profile bracket. Not sure if that fit's in your machine. Besides that it's ok.

Yes, thanks Hoba - low profile is indeed specifically what I wanted.

Well this seems to be just the thing I needed.
I've logged probably about 6 hours of WoW thru pfSense with these NICs, and as far as I can tell the lag has gone away.  Play experience feels MUCH improved!  ;)
