I am trying to install pfSense on a soekris net4801 and, not having much luck.

I put the pfSense-2.2.2-RELEASE-2g-i386-nanobsd image on a 2GB CF card.  I have the net4801 set to the recommended settings and my serial port configured to match (9600/8/N/1).

Everything is fine in the soekris console.

When I get to the boot prompt, anything I type echos back as #s.  After I hit enter or press either 1 or 2 (for boot options), I just get line noise.

I assume it is booting but, I can't see anything to proceed.  It's like the serial settings changed.  I've tried different serial settings with no better results.

I have tried re-downloading and re-imaging the CF, using the 1G image instead, two different serial cables, two different host machines, four different terminal programs.

Another CF with m0nowall on it boots just fine on the same net4801.

      Here is the output:

Serial console speed on 2.2+ defaults to 115200. Looks like a serial speed mismatch.
