      Hi,

Apologies if any of what I'm about to say sounds a little bit "fresh", I have very limited experience when it comes to pfSense and all of the things associated with it. I recently acquired a Watchguard Firebox X550e free from my place of employment as they are undergoing an infrastructure upgrade and have taken the time to install pfSense on it and use it in my home environment. The installation has gone perfectly and I have managed to follow Hexhound's guide to quietening the fans and managed basic network configuration by myself. However, when I install the LCDproc-dev package and get to the respective service and configure it, the moment I click apply I get the following error message:

Warning: fopen(/usr/pbi/lcdproc-i386/local/etc/LCDd.conf): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/pkg/lcdproc.inc on line 48

The settings that I have used are as follows:

      Enable LCDproc at startup: YES
Com Port: Parallel port 1 (/dev/lpt0)
Display Size: 2 rows 20 colums
      Driver: Watchguard Firebox with SDEC

All of the other options have been left at their default values. I have tried searching all over this forum for a solution to the error I am facing, however please do forgive me if I am overlooking something in plain sight. Any help would be greatly appreciated!  :)

      Kind Regards

      Matthew

I think that's the IPv6 issue that LCDproc had.
Is there some reason why you're running 2.1? Hard to know quite what issues there might be with such an old version now.
