I had slow GUI back in 2.1.x when I fiddled with the DNS Forwarder.  I had changed the Interface from Localhost to LAN, and that killed the GUI for me.  Once I went back to Localhost, everything went back to normal.

Well if DNS is MIA then that's just generally slooooooooooooooooooow. Not only on changing something. Login, navigation, everything slow like molasses.

But I'm not sure why that is.  When I'm connected to the router via HTTP on the same network and just going from section to another, why would DNS even come into the equation?  What is pfSense doing when serving up PHP code that requires DNS to the point that it's unusable in that state??

                Hi

When Navigating in the GUI, in general when applying any change after creating a rule it takes to much time, I have no special configuration, nat and port forwarding, I just started configuring it.

                PFSense 2.2.2
                AMD 2 core at 2.5
                4GB Ram
