Fallback on second WAN don't work !
-
Hello, I have the same issue after I moved to 2.2 :( it was working on 1.x and also in 2.1 but now is not :'(
192.168.0.1 LAN
10.0.0.1 WAN1
192.168.1.1 WAN2Both WAN have a Monitor on the first node and the firewall is set according.
I try to ping the Monitored IP from my pc and from the firewall console but with the same result, as long as 1 line is up all the ping goes OK ( firewall rules have no effect ) also unplug of cable from the APU don't solve the issue. In any case the PFSense is not able to switch the traffic from the fault line to the good one, so if WAN1 goes down ( mean the modem is OFF, wich is never thecase ) the comunication with the outside are lost, no traffic is routed to WAN2
Attach some images, of the test.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks

Post screen shots of the 2 gateways settings so we can see the gateway IPs and monitor IPs in use.
Also post screen shots of your LAN rules - there should be some rule/s that feed the traffic into the wanbalance gateway group.
For a simple 1 LAN and 2 WAN setup this should work easy. -
Sorry to be late on reply, but was out for work.
:(Attached the Firewall Rules for the LAn and the Gateway .
Thanks
