Why does https://www.spamhaus.org/drop/drop.lasso work for URL table alias, but not https://www.Spamhaus.org/drop/drop.lasso ?

Domains names are supposed to be case insensitive, but the one with mixed case results in an empty download when used as a URL table alias.

Interesting that the www subdomain portion appear to be case insensitive though, because this works too; https://Www.spamhaus.org/drop/drop.lasso

All 3 of them work in browser though.

A brief look at the php and the only thing the jumps out at me is perhaps the curl verify peer not accepting case difference in the domain name.

      Could that be it?  Thoughts?

I'd say it's a decent chance that cURL is not verifying in a case-insensitive way.

Except that https works fine with some mixed case domain names.  Such as https://www.Team-CYMRU.org/Services/Bogons/fullbogons-ipv4.txt for instance.
