PfSense & Intel QuickAssist Technology

If Intel QuickAssist technology will be joins in the pfSense kernel or code either as a packet
or a feature, would this then be only pointed to the capable Intel CPUs or also to the Intel
QuickAssist Server Adapters family, shown at this website?

At least some of those cards will be supported. Not sure on specifics yet.
