      pfSense Forum,

We are utilizing a managed BSD firewall from a provider we're moving away from.  We have no control over the firewall, thus the move to our own firewall solution, hopefully running pfSense.

We receive the following report at the end of the day when a new device connects to the gateway router/firewall:

IP: 192.168.21.73 Status: Unknown - Please provide Information
              Documented:
              Unique  ID: 32275 HW: 00:0b:4f:1b:27:73

Is there a way to get immediate email reports (not delayed like we have been receiving) on new MAC addresses connecting to our network via DHCP?

If there isn't such a feature in pfSense, has anyone installed a plugin to accomplish this, or even a script to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!
