      Hi all!
I've used on my PC pfSense 2.1 which was working well!
Once upgraded (or even after fresh installation on the same machine) of pfSense 2.2.4 (without any jump in the middle) my WAN interface cannot retrieve DHCP IP address.
Strange tough, while booting pfSense 2.2.4 with a bootable media on my laptop.. it can assign IP address from the WAN.

I've tried to re-install from scratch pfSense 2.1 and it assign DHCP IP address for my WAN interface.
In the other end there's a DSL modem which provides 10.0.0.x IP address.

Any ideas what can cause it?
      Thanks in advance.

Silly question:  Are you sure you're assigning WAN to the proper NIC in pfSense?

If I do a fresh install or add hardware on occasion, the NICs show up differently in pfSense. Only by writing down the MAC address of each NIC am I able to correctly reassign them at reboot.
