I've created a thread here:https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=98057.0 for problems with VPN and have noticed that I cannot ping any of the static IPs either but pfSense is creating entries in the firewall log showing the ICMP being passed for the IPs. I'm guessing this is the same issue that is preventing OpenVPN connections…

Using BT on a Draytek (configured as PPPoE passthrough) with pfSense installed on ESXi - I've added all IPs as VIPs with their /29 subnet. Even without these you can see the firewall receiving the pings for those IPs as they're routed by BT to the PPPoE dynamic IP but no response is ever sent. I do get responses from the IP assigned through PPPoE...

What's odd is I can actually use the IPs sucessfully on outbound NAT rules.

I've found another thread with no solution that has the same issue from a couple years ago: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=69115.0

Sorted… Had to set the VIPs interface to Localhost for whatever reason.
