I do not know how to unblock certain sites using squidguard. I have reviewed the recommended sites and went through the "very little" information on squidguard here and on developers' site. If someone could show me how to say unblock youtube.com for ip 172.15.1.120 I would be grateful. Then I could use that model to create another one for my computer just with different sites.

      Thanks

create it under "destinations" then save. go to your ACL and/or default and you will see it added to the list check allow to allow it, or block it by checking both. I will see if I can grab a screen capture for you.

You dont think I can find those links? I found that link right after putting it on while doing searches. He doesn't explain it enough on that page.

Actually that link does have everything you need. Destinations is where your blacklist/whitelist additions will be. Once you save them then they will be added to the database. under default and ACL you will see the uptime destinations check boxes. Thats where you will specify to allow, or deny access. save and then apply on the general settings tab.

If you select Dest-rule and not checking deny - this is mean whitelist, and such rules will placed before block(deny) rules (exclude 'all' rule - this rule always last) .
