      Hello everyone,

found an Bug in the latest pfsense vpn. We have combined ipsec xauth with our windows 2012r2 domainservers.

If  the "§" character is included in the domainpassword  of the user the autentification fails.

      yours sincerly

      andi

        LDAP or RADIUS?

If using LDAP, did you check the box on the server config on pfSense to use UTF-8?

          Hi  jimp,

thx for your utf8 tip. We use LDAP and with activating "UTF8 Encode" it works flawless.
