I just upgraded from version 2.2.2 to 2.2.4.  Just did the easy upgrade.  The problem is that my EM2 (OPT2) network card.  Appears to enable and disable intermittently.

I see the following error message in the system log:

      Aug 21 12:20:06 check_reload_status: Reloading filter
      Aug 21 12:20:06 php-fpm[82097]: /rc.newwanip: rc.newwanip: on (IP address: 192.168.123.10) (interface: OPT2[opt2]) (real interface: em2).
      Aug 21 12:20:06 php-fpm[82097]: /rc.newwanip: rc.newwanip: Info: starting on em2.
Aug 21 12:20:05 php-fpm[82097]: /rc.linkup: Hotplug event detected for OPT2(opt2) but ignoring since interface is configured with static IP (192.168.123.10 )

Any idea how to fix this and is it a known error.  Everything worked with version 2.2.2 but this started with 2.2.4.

      Thanks.

        This is the problem:

The NIC that controls the em2/OPT2 is detecting (the lose) and presence of the carrier on the cable (from the other NIC in front of it).
This is a dying NIC, bad connection or bad cable issue.

Edit : and where are the logs ??

Thanks, I'll check out the NIC in the computer connected to this NIC.
