Hi all, I've got a gigabit switch and multiple pfSense interfaces, if I set a queue (qLink) of 500Mbit for, let's say LAN1 and LAN2, does that make 1Gbit total or 500Mbit shared between the two? I have to know which happens so I can take the numbers into account before they hit the limit and render the Traffic Shaper useless.

Queues are unaware of where data is coming from. The firewall rules direct packets into queues.

To answer your question, no, it won't be 1Gb. If you shape to 500Mb, that means you will NEVER get more than 500Mb from that queue.
