Can i upload Pfsense Firmware on the Linksys AC1900 AC ?
its a 64 bit OS as i understand from shop guy.thank you

well it wont work first of all its on freebsd, pretty sure min reqs are 256mb of ram and if its was possible it just would not work as nice, imagine running squid3 trying to cache :o
I would rather flash it on ddwrt and run YAmon (its like ntopng) and theres another cool stuff too. But not sure how stable for the Linksys WRT 1900AC

DD-WRT is non-existent for that HW: https://www.dd-wrt.com/site/content/dd-wrt-linksys-wrt-1900ac
They sold those with a promiss for official OpenWRT support. Of couse, nothing ever happened. The HW is completely unusable with the stock firmware, buggy like hell, resetting itself to factory defaults randomly, etc. I would get rid of the garbage and never ever consider Linksys products again.

Yeah I really dont like Linksys I prefer Netgear for home-users or Better Unifi AP-LR

I do not get the purpose here? This is NOT what pfSense is intended for. It's not a replacement FW for wireless APs. Get DD-WRT/OpenWRT/Tomato or whatnot for that. If you want to use pfSense, you get any of those SOHO WiFi routers capable of being set up as a dumb AP, you get a separate box for pfSense and hook the AP to one of its NICs.

cyberbot pfSense cannot be added on normal routers because they cannot handle the ram and the cache and even if there was a way lets say hypothetically it wont run as smooth. What you can do is A. buy a computer amd x32 prob as 150 dollars not sure something cheep. Or buy something expensive with a processor intel atom. Now depending on what network environment or how heavy the workload is. If its at home get amd. And network NIC Intel I hope this helps you.
Now for nighthawk r7000 yes you can flash it to DDWRT and its very good and stable, you can create VLANS and much more BUT pfSense has way more packages like squid,pfBlockerNG,etc.
Personally I would either buy a cheep PC on eBay amd and do some testing.

Already have a ISP modem which is doing the need for wifi stuff but pfsense is handing dhcp release

I'm using several 'Linkys' (Cisco now ?) devices, re flashed with DDWRT.
Some of theme are running nearly a decade now.root@WRT54GL:~# uptime 07:55:12 up 100 days, 22:12, load average: 0.00, 0.01, 0.00Ok, no draft N support, but they handle the job for me.
As 'stupid' AP's, they do fine. I love the setup : "shut everything down" and up it goes ;)
Btw: DD-WRT: with some 'ebtables' rules I can re-enforce "Client Isolation", a must-have on public (wifi) networks.
