      Hi,

as the topic states: Is it possible to configure pfSense to have several dynamic IPs on one interface?
If so, how can I configure nat to have 1:1 translation with lets say 2 adresses and use normal nat with rest of lan. I mean something like this:

      wan a –-  1:1  --- 192.168.1.98
      wan b ---  1:1  --- 192.168.1.99
      wan c --- normal --- [192.168.1.100,192.168.1.254]

My isp provides 5 dynamic IPs but I have more hosts so I need nat. The topology is like this:

      lan
                                                                                                                            / .
      wan –- modem/router in bridge mode --- (dynamic IP)pfSense(192.168.1.2) --- switch - .
                                                                                                                            \ .
                                                                                                                              lan

As a bonus, could I use dynDNS for each of those public IPs?

        It's not possible.
        Only static IP's.

Afaik this feature will be in 1.3

We do what we must, because we can.

How unfortunate. But nice if it'll be in next version.

Meanwhile I was thinking another approach. My modem has built in switch so if I bought a few extra nic's and cables and did following:

wan –- modem/router in bridge mode
                                    |        |          |
                          wan a | wanb |  wanc |
                                    \        |        /
                                      \      |      /
                                          pfSense --- switch *** lan

This way pfSense would think there are 3 wans wouldn't it? Does this work? And would it be simple to setup the nat configuration I wanted?

Only you can tell :) But i would use port forward. I only want 1:1 one a DMZ nic
