      Hi all

I'm looking at setting up a network using pfSense at the head office and then some (preferably) industrial grade IPsec capable mobile ADSL/3G routers that are going to go at client sites.

Does anyone here make use of any ADSL/3G routers that are IPsec capable and have good success in using them in conjunction with pfSense?

From searching the forums Draytek seems fairly popular, was just wondering if anyone was currently using anything else that is reliable, stable and no compatibility issues?  If industrial grade, even better, as the locations where the remote kit will be installed might be in some fairly warm or cold temperatures.

      Thanks!

Draytek seems to be a popular choice for that role, though there are not many other vendors in that area with IPsec support that are of any quality to speak of.

Given how frequently I've seen lightning fry modems, I would never consider placing any significant sum into a device plugged into a telco network directly. Put a cheap bridged modem in front of a better router and you'll be much better off in the long run.
