      We are planning to test pfsense in our school environment, but all our internet traffic is filtered by the local authority before it reaches the internet and we are finding we are currently unable to upgrade pfsense or install packages due to the filtering. Pfsense can connect to the internet and we can upgrade the unit if we take it offsite. Is there a list of URL's and ports that need to be unblocked to allow upgrades/package installations ?

        Depending on what they're using to filter you, could you not simply ask them to whitelist *.psense.org?
