Mountroot Fails
-
Hi all.
Did a small upgrade to my PC. Now every time i reboot the PFsense box i get a mountroot error that is only fixed by typing in "ufs:/dev/ada0s1a"
How can i make this a permanent change?
Thanks in advance for any assistance

And what exactly is that "small upgrade"?

pfsense does start once this ufs line is entered.

Ah, changing MB is "small upgrade", hmmm… Do a configuration backup and simply reinstall and restore the config.

Thanks for the help!
I'll be trying it soon.

Motherboard..
This is the main component of any PC , Server or appliance! The CPU, RAM and drives and all other devices
are connected to this main component. Small means the CPU, RAM, PCIe card, miniPCI(e) card SSD/HDD.@queens:

You should not wait as I see it right, do it now, there is no other trick or tip to surround this situation.
