I have a 10 Mbit/s symmetric leased line, with 100 Mbit LAN connenction.
I noticed, that above 4 Mbit/s down and uploads, the Packet Filter starts to drop packets.
It seems that the default queue lenght of 50 is too small. (checked by pfctl -vsq)
When I changed the queue lenght by adding "qlimit 1000" to /tmp/rules.debug manually for the respective queue, the problem has been solved, there were no dropped packets any more in that queue.
Unfortunately if i change anything through the WebGUI, the /tmp/rules.debug will be overwritten, and the qlimit will be 50 again as default.
Question: Is it possible to permanently configure the queue lenght somehow?
Advantage would be for example to be able to reduce the queue lenght for VOIP traffic to reduce latency, or to increase queue lenght for P2P traffic to avoid packet drops.
